Vietnam Vets 5K

In February of 1990, Lockport Chapter 268 of the Vietnam Veterans of America organized a photo exhibit entitled "Vietnam Veterans - Our Photo Album". The photos, taken entirely by Niagara County veterans, have been displayed at many sites throughout New York State and Southern Ontario to much acclaim.

The 5K race and 1 Mile Tribute Walk will start and finish at the Kenan Center in Lockport, New York. The course is scheduled to be certified by Jeff John during the month of September. Immediately following the race, participants will be invited into the Kenan Center for this special exhibit.

Special edition race shirts will be guaranteed to all runners who register before September 25th. On this occasion, Chef Heather's food for health includes a delicious cranberry turkey spinach wrap brimming with grilled local vegetables and fresh baked zesty ginger peach mini-muffins along with fruit side and beverage.
